My Uncle John and I did this one on a sunny day on the Makah Indian Reservation. It is the farthest northwest you can get in the contiguous US. We were searching for a good fishing guide for salmon. Nothing can compare to the beauty of this hike, which was easy enough for me and my Uncle. If you come to Washington State check out this one. It is worth the drive for there is something to see along the way. Check out Hurricane Ridge while you're at it.
Uncle John and me at ocean platform Looking south at the beautiful shoreline Looking north isn't so bad either.
