Holder Knob via Holder Ridge - Taylor Mtn park A favorite simple exercise route. This time with 45 pounds in my backpack. About a 2.2 mile loop. You gain 400 ft, lose 300, then gain 600 for a total of 1000 ft in about 2 miles. Tons of flowers, but today it should be renamed Garter Snake trail. Saw a couple of dozen and heard many more slithering away. Not a snake fan myself.
Miles Hiked:4.5
Trail Condition:Great
Weather:Sunny
Crowds:None
Rating:6
